A December To Remember

2017 finally draws to a close *drumrolls.* And as we gear up to map out a fresh list of resolutions let’s not forget to make this a December to remember. We’ve rounded up a list of wonderful places for you to explore the last month of this wonderful year – whether you’re an adventure junkie, a soul-seeker or just looking to blow off some steam we’re sure you’ll find something just right for you.

1) Neeralaya, Kullu, Himachal Pradesh

The succulent apple orchards of Kullu beckon you to take a trip back to your childhood. And you wouldn’t mind, right? Neeralaya, is both the pristine ‘little house by the river’ and that ‘secret place’ which everbody looks for a soothing vacation. It seems to rise naturally from the ground. The more you explore this place, the more forgotten pleasures you discover here.

2) Tall Trees Resort, Manali, Himachal Pradesh

The property is surrounded by the towering Deodar trees – the feel of living in the woods is so real here. A panoramic walk into the woods leads to the campsite where the luxury tents are situated next to a river – the cherry on the cake at the property. This place is best suited for all kinds of travellers –  from a family on a jungle trek; a nature enthusiast or couples seeking some privacy.

3) Villa Morjim, Morjim, Goa

Villa Morjim is one-of-a-kind heritage villa. This is an ideal destination for travellers who are looking for an extraordinary vacation. The beautiful view of the sunrise over the Arabian sea is not to be missed! The surrounding area is blessed with pristine natural beauty.

4) Kurumba Village Resort, Coonoor, Tamil Nadu

kuru

Kurumba Village Resort is a tribute to the ancient group that existed happily in this great habitat. The zigzag pathways leads to there tribal-style cottages and suite, which are all crafted with natural materials. Experience activities like plucking home-grown fruits and vegetables, then using these as basic ingredients, the chef will conduct a hands-on tribal cooking class followed by a trek to the hills – the pakkasuran where lunch will be served atop the mountain.

5) Lakshman Sagar, Pali, Rajasthan

Lakshman Sagar (3) 2

Lakshman Sagar was built as a hunting lodge by the then Thakur of Raipur, Lakshman Singh Ji. Great care has been taken to restore the priceless prints of the past at this place which clearly depicts the culture of the Rajputs from the machans used for tiger spotting to the man-made lake to attract game.

Trust us, there’s no better way to savour this beautiful season than getting away to one of these stunning destinations.
